NARC General Information

The Northwest Amateur Radio Club is a non-profit making organisation and is concerned with the teaching of the Amateur Radio courses to youth members and to anyone else who becomes a member to our club.  If you would like to join us and learn about the hobby of ham radio then drop down and give us a visit - you don't have to become a member straight away you can have up to 3 visits to see if we are right for you!

 

The Club meets on the first and third Tuesday night from 7pm onward.

The meetings are held at:

Standish Community Centre

Moody Street (Off Church St)

Standish nr Wigan

WN6 0JY

 

Children are very welcome but must be supervised at all times. 

Children who do not act in a responsible manner will be asked to leave the club.

Feel free to come along and visit.  There are no subs for guests attending the meetings,  and you do not have to sign up as a member on your first visit - although we would like that very much!!!
