The largest annual WOSM
event, the Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) was held in 2007 for the 50th
time during the weekend of 20 and 21 October
Northwest ARC used the following special call signs for this event:

Centenary Of Scouting
GB50COS 50th JOTA Centenary Of Scouting
This international event was of double importance in 2007 as it
was the 50th JOTA and the scouting centenary Year. The event was held at
Tawd Vale Camp Site,
Lowry Hill Lane,
Lathom,
West Lancs.
